What is Developmental psychology, what does it covers and
why is it important?
Rationale: Developmental psychology paves the way for all
other forms of psychology and must be laded down before the other psychological
theories can be examined.

raises. Students will discuss developmental milestones and prepare to learn

|
A short more adult Piage experiment will be done on the class using
marbles

Students will participate in an
experiment that was used by Piaget to understand how points of view change
decisions.

This lesson has students create their own language using sounds and shapes.

Students will learn to acquire
language without any prior knowledge of language aside from the ability to
produce phonemes (explain what phonemes are). By the end of the lesson,
students will understand the complexity of constructing language from a small
base like young children.

|
Students will discuss the differences when between men and women and
how the development of morals are associated with gender.

Students will explore the aspects of moral
reasoning, as well as encounter the scientific aspects of psychology.
